Being new to virtual assistance does not mean being unable to do useful work. A focused practice project can show how someone thinks, organizes information, uses tools, and communicates an outcome.

The important part is honest labeling. Practice, training, volunteer, employment, and client work should never be blurred together. Clients deserve to know the context behind the evidence they are reviewing.

A strong starter project is specific: it names the problem, shows the process, identifies the tools used, and includes a clear deliverable. That gives a client something concrete to discuss in a first conversation.
